The Commercial Receivers Association, a national membership organization focused on empowering the education and standardization of Commercial Receivership Administration, is pleased to welcome Jonathan E. Groth, Partner at DGIM Law, as their new Florida State Director.
The CRA was keen to have Jonathan join the leadership team, because of his strong focus on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, complex business and commercial litigation, receivership and securities litigation, and investor and consumer fraud litigation. “Jonathan brings an extensive background in litigation and fraud, from both the local and global corporate perspective, on matters including consumer and investor fraud, professional and medical malpractice, real estate and securities litigation, commercial litigation, and personal injury litigation,” said Eric Peterson, Of Counsel at Spencer Fane and President and Co-Founder of the CRA. “We are proud to have him join the ranks of the CRA’s leadership team as the State Director of Florida.”
Receivership is and continues to be a viable option for creditors to reclaim their interest in financially distressed companies. The CRA is committed to offering a consistent source of information about the movement in the space in Florida and throughout the country. In addition, the association remains laser focused on building a network of connected, informed and most importantly well-qualified members that will elevate the level of commercial receiverships across the United States.
“I am filled with great enthusiasm as I embark on a journey with CRA, a dynamic and thriving organization. I am looking forward to aiding their expansion in Florida, while championing the organization’s objective of enlightening professionals and practitioners about the advantages and innovative resolutions that receiverships and similar remedies can offer to clients and those impacted by commercial disputes. The crucial mission of CRA, to educate and advocate for the utilization of receiverships in order to enhance client and professional services, resonates deeply with me and aligns with my own professional ethos. It is my hope to share my expertise and knowledge in this area and empower others in this field.”
The CRA is also planning its inaugural in-person conference for August 2023 at Saint Louis Union Station in Saint Louis, MO, in addition to upcoming state launches in Utah, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Michigan over the next three months.
