She is a former chair of the International Womens Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), Florida Network and past president of the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association (a National Bar Association affiliate). She is the Founding Director and Board Chair of aire Ventures, Inc., a social impact venture studio focused on scaling technology and innovation solutions to systemic gaps in access, opportunity, and racial equity.

Monique is a Past Chair of the University of South Florida (USF) Alumni Association Board of Directors (2021-2022). She regularly contributes her time and talents to other local and national organizations, a rewarding endeavor for which she remains steadfast—as service is part of her DNA.

Early in her career, Monique realized that as a bankruptcy attorney, she would be able to meet her highest objective, “to do well and to do good.” Prior to entering private practice, Monique served as law clerk to Hon. Laurel M. Isicoff, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
